S.T.N.S.Secure Traversal Navigation Solution
Firewall administrators need not choose between accessibility and security. The Direct Packet STNS firewall traversal solution increases the reach and security of IP voice and video endpoints. Better yet, no additional firewall reconfiguration is required.
The STNS firewall traversal solution will route voice and video between disparate firewalled networks, often without the need to replace endpoints, routers, switches, PBX, or gateways.The STNS solution in brief:
- STNS is non-manufacturer specific and is compatible with any H.323 voice or video endpoint. SNTS is also SIP voice capable (MTMH gateway required)
- STNS requires only (1) outbound TCP port
- STNS is extremely secure. All traffic is 256-bit AES encrypted. This will layer on top of any encryption that is already supported by the endpoint (if any), resulting in the most secure call possible
- STNS is scalable - solutions available for small (1 endpoint) locations, to large corporate headquarters with thousands of voice and video endpoints
- STNS does not block voice or video feature sets, nor does it detract from overall call quality
- STNS is appliance based and extremely reliable
- STNS is not an “end around”. All traffic is routed through the firewall
